Once again, what is Linsanity?
Against most teams, hes a dynamic scorer and passer and most importantly a winner. Against Miami he is scared, confused and and gassed out from Heat exhaustion to the tune of 1/11 FG, 8 points, 8 Turnovers in 34 minutes. Known causes of Heat exhaustion include constant pressure from Rio and Cole and the suffocating Miami defense.

Joel Pryzbilla has finally signed...
….with the Blazers after reportedly narrowing down his two choices to Miami and Chicago. Barring some trade, it looks like we are sticking to our guns.

26-7 Midway through the season
Happy birthday to me! Sporting the best record in the NBA and a 7th consecutive win by at least 12 points, no team is playing better including the Spurs who have a longer winning streak. But of course it doesn’t mean much unless we win in June.

It's My Birthday!
And all I want is a late present in June. Bring home the title Miami, that’s not too much to ask is it?

Why.....
Do we continue to leave shooters behind the arc? That’s exactly what Orlando wants to do.

NBA Rising Star Challenge, Team Shaq
Blake Griffin Greg Monroe Markieff Morris Ricky Rubio Jeremy Lin Kemba Walker Landry Fields Norris Cole Brandon Knight Tristan Thompson Shaq is proving not only is he a terrible analyst, but a poor drafter. Not one SF and too many PG’s, looks like he resurrected the 2006 Knicks. Oh well at least Cole is in it.

This is the Heat team we were all expecting. But even I wasn’t expecting them to look this dominant in a tripleheader.

Welcome Back Gladness
Signed a 10-day contract of which they have up to two. This either means Przybilla isn’t going to sign or he’s just not ready

LeBron Responds
LeBron James won’t apologize for tweet If you didn’t already know, Kendrick Perkins took exception to LeBron’s tweet following Blake’s much talked about monstrous dunk over Perkins. Perk is upset about the tweet because he feels LeBron has better things to do. LeBron feels as if he’s been singled out and is an easy target. Here is a list of tweets by other players...

Outscored 24-11 in the third quarter. For some sick reason I still think we pull this one off

Cole at the half
He may have just one FG to this point but the fastbreak offense already looks better than it ever was in the Big 3 era. Amazing what a speedster will do when they are playing with Bron and Wade. They have had so many easy buckets around the basket so far because of Cole’s speed. Perhaps this is a glimpse into the future, if/when Cole beats out Rio for the starting job he changes dramatically...

1st Career Start
Rio is out for tonight’s game with a left hand sprain, which means Norris Cole will be making his first career start. Whether he plays significant minutes or not remains to be seen but the Heat’s fastest three players are on the court at the same time and could make for some exciting fastbreak plays.

Upcoming Road Trip
And now on to the toughest stretch of the regular season, a 6 game road trip that features the Heat’s first triple header. Starting with rival Orlando, a scrimmage game against Washington, and then a tough triple header against Atlanta, Milwaukee, and Indiana only to close out the road trip where LeBron is hated most, Cleveland. With a healthy roster up and down and the possible addition of...

Heat's Big 5/Closing Lineup
PG LeBron James SG Dwyane Wade SF Mike Miller PF Udonis Haslem C Chris Bosh for the third game in a row, the Heat have gone to this lineup in the fourth and has successfully closed out games which has produced about a +6 net (top of the head estimate). And it looks to be the closing lineup for the rest of the season for many reasons. There is size and rebounding at every position and just as...

Mickell Sadness
With the deadline of guaranteeing non-guaranteed contracts already passing, Mickell Gladness was waived by the Heat, who can bring him back on up to two ten day contracts after clearing the 48 hour waiver period. However if Przybilla does choose Miami over Chicago, he would be hard-pressed on finding a roster spot and would have to take his talents outside of South Beach.
